Orthokeratology (Ortho K)

Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) is a non-invasive and safe option for vision correction without the need for glasses or contacts. This innovative technique uses special contact lenses to gently reshape the cornea overnight, providing clear and sharp vision throughout the day.

At Optometrist Parramatta, we offer Ortho-K as a means of controlling myopia progression and improving visual acuity, particularly in children and young adolescents.

Myopia, also known as nearsightedness, is a common vision problem that often starts in childhood and can worsen over time.

We offer a dedicated and comprehensive Child Myopia 360° Exam that encompasses a full eye examination along with specialised assessments to monitor myopia progression and explore potential treatment options, which commonly include prescription lenses or special contact lenses.
